Start with the need, not an apology
Explain what happened, what is needed now and what the requested amount is meant to cover. Clear facts are more useful than trying to prove hardship through excessive personal detail.
Use a title people can understand immediately
A title such as “Help with electricity and basic groceries” is clearer than a generic “Please help me.” The title should tell a reader what the request is about at a glance.
Describe the situation without sensitive documents
You do not need to upload IDs, bank pages, salary slips or medical documents. Explain the situation in words and keep unnecessary sensitive information outside the public request.
Choose a realistic amount
The requested amount should match the need you described. DirectAid also applies platform limits by country and blocks amounts above those limits.
Post without an account
A basic DirectAid help request can be posted without email or a password. The mobile number is used internally to identify the request and receive the donation; it is not displayed publicly.
What can you do now?
To read active requests, donate or post a help request, open DirectAid directly. The basic actions do not require an account.
